Where

We understand that making that first important step to reach out is hard, but the rest doesn't have to be.

Finding the right therapist doesn’t have to be left to chance. Everyone deserves the opportunity to find a “buddy” capable of helping them with their troubles. In matching people with relevant therapists, we want to make sure no one drops off the map when they make the brace decision to seek support.

There are various ways to find a therapist on buddy and the best route will depend on how much help you need. From a simple location search to a personal matching service, we can help you find the right therapist to see in person or online.

Questionnaire

if you aren’t sure exactly what you are looking for, our easy-to-use questionnaire will take you through a handful of questions to give you the top selections of suitable therapists in your area of choice.

Search & filter

if you know what you are looking for, use the Find a Therapist page to search by postcode then use the filters on the left to refine your search.

Fully assisted

Short on time, or simply can’t make up your mind? Complete an extended assessment which is reviewed and matched by a care coordinator. There is a charge for this popular premium service.

Finding the right therapist

Read the therapists’ profiles, any articles they have written, or visit their websites. We always push for therapists to have a full and complete profile which will help you understand the way they work.

Therapists set their own prices and hours, so look for someone to fit your budget and schedule.

When you are ready to connect, use the contact button on their profile to send them a message. It’s usual to give a brief outline of what you want to talk about.

You can book an appointment with the therapists who offer online bookings. Otherwise therapists will let you know about charges and times.

If you would like to use online booking and your chosen therapist doesn’t have it set up, just let us know.

And if you need more help, simply get in touch with our chat team on our site or by emailing connect@buddyhealth.co.uk.
