Many people find themselves considering counselling when they want their lives to change. This is sometimes a response to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, addiction, sexuality and flashbacks. At other times, it’s simply because there is a general sense that life isn’t working how you would like it to. It’s at times like these that finding a safe & confidential space where you can talk can feel invaluable.ÊMy counselling approach is integrative, which is where I bring together several models of counselling and psychotherapy techniques and approaches to meet the needs of the client. I include the creative arts and CBT to enable an expression of feelings and a positive move towards improved well-being.As well as working with Adults, I offer counselling sessions for young people where they can explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours which are causing distress.I aim to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can share and explore present and past experiences and express thoughts and feelings enabling you to gain personal awareness. This can empower you to enjoy a better quality of life, have resilient mental health, improved well-being and have more authentic relationships.I welcome people from all backgrounds, faiths, ethnicity, gender and sexuality.In our sessions together, you will have the time for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and identify areas of concern or difficulty, which may be preventing you achieving your goals and fulfilling your potential.Whilst I am happy to work with what you choose to bring to the sessions, it can be helpful to know your reason for coming including any areas you would especially like to work on, plus any specific aims or goals you may have in mind so that these can be taken into account.
