When life becomes difficult, it can sometimes be easier to talk to someone who is not personally involved. It can help to have someone to talk to who isnÕt a friend or relative. I provide a welcoming, supportive, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore and work through issues that are affecting you. I passionately believe that people can grow and change, no matter how difficult their situation may seem. Counselling can offer you a chance to change how you feel, begin to live differently and help you to make positive choices about your future. My formal training is in integrative counselling, which means that I work from a base of different theoretical approaches. This allows me to practice in a flexible and open way that is unique for every client. You may wish to look at feelings around a specific or repeated problem (e.g. relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, depression, stress or family issues) or you may have a general feeling that you could be getting more out of life and feel more fulfilled. I work collaboratively with you to do this. At the heart of my work is the relationship that develops between my clients and I.
