I am an integratively trained counsellor which, to the layperson, simply means I can work with a number of different psychological approaches and theories. This flexibility allows me to select the approach most suited to each clientÕs needs. We all have our own individual style of communicating, listening and conveying how we feel and what we are thinking. Understanding the personal life-view and values of each client is what makes for a powerful experience in the counselling relationship and allows real shift and freedom to take place through the work.Decades of working in industry, training, support and counselling have taught me to value every single person I encounter as a unique individual. At certain times in our lives most of us can reach a place where things arenÕt quite how we want them to be. It may be a feeling of ÔstucknessÕ with a close relationship or at work. Or it may be a much deeper feeling of depression or despair. The counselling room is a unique space where you are free to explore Ð with non-judgemental guidance Ð what is going on in your life and how to review, revisit and perhaps change the things which are troubling you or holding you back.
