Life isn’t easy, is it? It throws challenges of so many different kinds our way. Sometimes, as we journey through these challenges, we can get lost in a tangle of thoughts and feelings. This is particularly true when we are experiencing conflict, either internally or in our relationships. Counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe place to unpick these feelings, and the thoughts and experiences that lie behind them.ÊÊI seek to offer clients a warm, gentle and empathetic space in which they can experience unconditional acceptance and appropriate challenge.Ê This approach comes from my belief that this space can enable growth and change to come, and hope to be rediscovered. Working with me you couldÊexpect to spend some time exploring your current experience of feelings, thoughts and behavioural responses.ÊWhere appropriate we may also explore how early life experiences and formative relationships influence and shape your current responses.I have a first class degree in counselling, and over six years of counselling experience. In addition, I have worked for four and a half years providing psychological and spiritual support to patients, their families and staff in a hospice.
