I provide a safe space, in a non-judgemental environment, where people have the freedom to explore themselves. I am warm and I work at my client’s pace in a gentle manner. I am an integrative counsellor and use a variety of theoretical models. This collaborative approach enables me to work in a way that suits each individual client. Humour is very important to me and I believe it is often the thing that keeps us going when life gets tough.I am also a qualified supervisor and trained using the Hawkins and Shohet 7 Eyed Model of Supervision.I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with many issues, including, anger, anxiety, depression, trauma and low self-esteem. See below for more details. I have worked with clients in deep distress. I’m very understanding, empathic, and maintain confidentiality. I realise it is difficult for people to open up but I believe counselling can make a difference.I recognise the importance of finding the right counsellor that best suits your needs and that is why our initial meeting, lasting around 20 to 40 minutes, will be free of charge. I welcome people from all walks of life and I appreciate the importance of sensitivity and respect. I hope we can work together, to find an appropriate way forward for you.
