I work within an integrative counselling model, which offers me the flexibility to work with you in a way which you find most helpful. This could be short term counselling, for example to help reduce anxiety or stress. It could be longer term counselling to explore past issues which are having a negative affect on your life and happiness now.I work with my clients to form a strong working alliance between us, building trust, honesty, and mutual respect in order to provide an environment of open exploration into whatever is troubling you.Some people find is difficult to express their feelings in words, so I often work with the transpersonal, other forms of communication. This could be using creative ways to work, for example drawing, or sand play therapy. It could be working with metaphor, or helping a client link their emotions to physical feelings. Everyone is different, so I aim to ensure each person is comfortable with the way we work together.I work with Êindividual adults , and do not offer couples counselling at the moment .
