Steven Smyth-Bonfield

I am an experienced integrative counsellor based in Teignmouth, Devon. My aim is to support my clientsÕ well-being and growth by nurturing their emotional awareness, resilience and confidence. I believe counselling is for everyone and whatever challenges and troubles my clients face I endeavour to create a supportive, gentle and effective place for them to face them. In my practice I see clients of all ages dealing with many kinds of difficulties and it is my role to give each of them the most empathy, honesty and compassionate regard I can. I work extensively with older people and provide a fully mobile counselling service for those clients who cannot come to me, visiting them in residential care homes, supported living and private residences. My mobile service covers areas including Teignbridge, Torbay, Exeter and Exmouth. I also have a special interest in supporting people with dyslexia or other specific learning difficulties and have considerable experience of doing this in school and university settings.
