It takes huge courage to admit that we are struggling, and even more courage to reach out to someone who can help.My training is as an ÒIntegrativeÓ Counsellor. This means I use insights and techniques from several different schools of counselling. However the heart of my practice is Òperson-centredÓ which means that I believe that you are the expert in your life:ÊDeep down, you instinctively know what you need in order to grow and change for the better. My job is to help you reflect and discover the answers you already have.I specialise in the areas of bereavement, loss and low self-esteem but work across a range of issues.I deliver non-judgemental, sex-positive, LGBTQ+ positive, faith-positive counselling.ÊI have delivered counselling for Cruse Bereavement Care & Ellenor Hospice. Please note that my counselling room does not currently have wheelchair access and the household does include cats (which will be locked away during counselling sessions, but allergies may still be triggered!)As a measure to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus I am currently offering online and telephone counselling. This is only a temporary measure, my primary mode of working is face-to-face.
